Shilah Phillips, lead vocalist of "Heaven's Kiss: Girl Groups Through The Ages", burst onto the national music scene by making it as a semi-finalist on American Idol season 3 where she worked alongside Jennifer Hudson.

In 2006 Shilah was crowned the 1st African-American Miss Texas in the pageant’s 72-year history. Shilah went on to become the 1st runner up to Miss America and overall CMT viewer's choice talent winner, setting a record that stands to this day. Shilah was featured on MTV's hit show “Pageant School”, a reality TV show leading up to the Miss America pageant. In 2011, Shilah completed her Jazz Studies music degree from The Grammy award-winning, world-renowned University of North Texas. In 2014 Shilah was voted one of Dallas' Most Beautiful Women by D Magazine. An exceptional jazz and pop singer, Shilah performs weekly at Truluck's Uptown Dallas on Thursdays and Saturdays.
The HEAVEN'S KISS: Girl Group Through The Ages tribute" is a lively girl band that takes you through musical history spanning from Dianna Ross and the Supremes all the way to Destiny's Child. Seamlessly They make the transition through the Ages paying tribute to girl groups like Sister Sledge, En Vogue, The Pointer Sisters and Labelle. The group also does a James Bond tribute which covers the most beloved Bond songs of all time including "Gold Finger", "Diamonds Are Forever", "Live and Let Die", "Sky Fall" and several others. This act brings the pageantry, excitement, drama, action and wardrobe changes.
